Mid-January 2019 the Olympiaregion Seefeld will once again be hosting the VISMA SKI CLASSICS race for professionals and amateurs. Only a few weeks before the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships will take place, the 4th “Kaiser Maximilian Lauf” race offers a superlative cross-country skiing event.
On Saturday, January 12th, the Visma Ski Classics race will take place over the original 60 km track, leading from Seefeld to Mösern, Leutasch and back to Seefeld. In addition, a 30 km track is offered: with start in Leutasch and finish in the WSC-Arena in Seefeld.
On Sunday, January 13th, skating fans are offered both the 60 km and the 30 km route as on the day before.
In 2018, the conditions were perfect with great amonts of snow and sunny weather. The event was well-organised and the Pro Teams in Visma Ski Classics ranked it as the forth best event of the season VIII.
Athletes from over 20 nations take part in this spectacular race and the TV pictures are broadcasted live in many countries.
Until 31th of October you can register for a reduced price of € 100, - for the 60km distance and € 75, - for the 30km distance.
